What do you guys think of edutainment systems? Systems like LeapFrog, VTech Smile, Leapster, and Sega Pico.

Do they count as a real gaming consoles? Do you collect them? Do you enjoy them?

My four year old sister has that V-Smile system and I pick up some games for her when I find them at Goodwill.  I would still consider it a gaming system, but the game library is not going to appeal to anyone over the age of seven.
I really don't like the system though, as the daycare I used to go to had an NES in the back room that I played all day.  One day that NES was gone and a V-Smile was in its place.  It's really difficult to go from Mario 3 and Adventure Island to edutainment games.  I HAD TO PLAY OUTSIDE THANKS TO THAT CONSOLE  >:(
Currently Playing: Dark Souls: Remastered (Switch)

I've still got this old habit ingrained into me from the older days of the internet when every resource on your PC counted towards speed: I keep exiting out of my extra tabs/windows just out of habit.

I'm trying to listen to a Nightwish playlist on YouTube in an extra tab while I'm on the computer right now, and I've exited out of it in the middle of a song like 3 times now. I'm driving myself nuts!

I had a brown sauce encounter today. :o

I was at Goodwill today, looking for American Beauty for my wife, because we seem to have lost her copy. I also saw Need for Speed: V-Rally on PS1, and picked that up. Pretty cool looking rally car racing game by EA. But found some more of that mysterious brown sauce on the outer-case and had to scrub it off.

Just thought I'd share since there's an unhealthy obsession with brown sauce here at VGCollect, and I'm an enabler. ;)

Happy b-day Fox!

What, is everyone's b-day here in either June or July?  Mine's coming up the end of July...  :P

Happy birthday Fox!

My birthday is in 3 months and it's the first birthday since I was a kid that I'm actually looking forward to. I don't drink so when I turned 21 it meant nothing to me but turning 25 means my car insurance rate goes down  ;D

I'm tough to beat at Sunshine Airport on Mario Kart 8. I'm not the best at this game, but I'm solid at that track. If anyone ever wants to play online, hit me up.
