@turf: Hang in there. If there's one thing I learned about this website, it's that everyone here always hopes for the best for everyone. I'll be sending good thoughts your way.

@dark: I just started Assignment 4 in Escha. I'm really just trying to blaze through it so I can get to Logy's story since he seems more interesting. That said, I love Threia. She's fierce as hell.

I decided to stick with Venom in GG. I can't do JI's with Chipp to save my life.

Bonus Dungeon ;D ;D ;D

In Tears to Tiara 2!!!

It must be, like, the Demon's/Dark Souls of SRPG's...so very hard + so very frustrating & rage-inducing...but ultimately - so very rewarding & such a feeling & sense of accomplishment! ;)

The platinum's now a given; the Bonus Dungeon's the test & the deal-breaker...IF you can beat the bonus dungeon, it makes the rest of the plat trivial, easy, and a joke.

That said, I'll be starting my one last playthrough (for the bonuses trophy), and...

...that'll be plat :P

Now...I actually *Have* to spend another few hours w/ the game, *before*  moving on & starting my next & last playthrough for that last (All Bonuses) trophy.

Why?

Well now, beating the last (50th) floor in the bonus dungeon gives you these 2 items called "strength water" & "ruin water".

Now...for 3 Million (with an "M") $; you can combine these 2 items into another new item.

Then, for Another 4 Million, you can combine this new item with 4 other very rare items to make...yet another new 'super' item.

With this new super item (+another 300k) - you can add it to Hamil/Melquart's, Tarte/Tanit's, or Arawn's penultimate "Ultimate Weapon" to create their, 'honest-to-God', best, last, and ultimate-iest weapon of all.

Yah, only one of them...you'd, apparently, have to beat the entire bonus dungeon 3 times to get all 3 :o

So, I only need 1 more Emperor's Wrath which, of course, only Dragons (baddest-ass enemies in da' game) deep in the bonus dungeon (*might*) drop.

Then, I'll be sure to save so I can reload & see them all, before deciding which one I'll keep for my NG; probably Tarte's because, iirc, I think it negates 75% of all Magical damage ;D

dark, this sounds like Star Ocean 4 all over again. I'm starting to worry about playing this game if I want to achieve 100% perfection. @_@

In other news, Escha is starting to annoy me. But, I will preserve for sheer love of the series. >_<
