Retro video game ads will always have a special place in my gaming heart.

I recall this one for (I think) the Sega Saturn. There was a bathing suit clad woman in the middle of the page, but she was surrounded by Sega Saturn titles. The woman, clearly a product of the mid 90s, had one of those, "Come hither" expressions. The text of the ad said something along lines of, "We know there's a beautiful babe on this page, but we know you're distracted by the amazing selection of games for the Sega Saturn."

Essentially, Sega was trying to cater to the dude-bros of the 90s. I found it funny since the system was better off playing 2D RPGs. XD

Retro video game ads will always have a special place in my gaming heart.

The best ones were the ones that took a page from Cracked and tried to gross out the reader.
Like Resident Evil being a close up shot of a fleshy eyeball in a jar.
Or the GameShark ads of family photos, with the boy having shark teeth and someone else with a bite taken out of them.
Or, and this one is my favorite for 'crap you didn't want your parents to see', the baseball game ad that's just a close up of a players skinned up arm.
