I guess I'm fortunate enough to not have that problem.

Well damn

http://www.kktv.com/home/headlines/Firefighters-Wii-Likely-Cause-of-RV-Fire-304664101.html

Quote
One man says he lost his RV and all of his stuff in a fire. The fire was ruled accidental.

Colorado Springs firefighters tell 11 News they considered smoking a possibility, but say it's unlikely. Their spokesperson tells 11 News the Wii was the only other possible cause, saying "all other possible sources of ignition have been ruled out."

"This had nothing to do with the wires," said Trevor Pellegrin. "It started in the actual console of the Wii."

Some of you that have been around here for a while may already know that I'm a HUGE fan of a relatively obscure action-RPG series called King's Field.

Some of you may be familiar with the name because Dark/Demon's Souls games "claim" to be spiritual successors. (But no, they're far different. They just happen to both be action-RPGs set in a fantasy setting, and done by the same company (though a decade and a half later)).

I was reading through one of my old Electronic Gaming Magazines I recently got, and I came across this 3-page spread ad for King's Field II (yeah, ad, read the top, it's not an article or preview), which happens to be my favorite entry in the series (it's KF III in Japan).

Check it out, how cool is this for an ad?!

Just what are you up to, you sneaky yet sexy snake?

Happy Memorial Day everyone. Remember, it's not just about three days off from work, cook outs and the first days of summer.

This I couldnt agree more. It makes me angry when I see people get all excited about Memorial day just to get drunk and pass out somewhere.

Me too, I'm just not willing to pay just under $100 for a magazine subscription. I wish they'd release a U.S. version of the magazine or somehow bring subscription costs down for the U.S. It's a damn fine magazine.

Has anybody heard about this: http://www.destructoid.com/project-cars-boss-we-re-running-at-about-23fps-on-wii-u--292728.phtml ( runs at 720p)

It looks like that the company put the Wii U version on the backburner while focusing on the PC/XB1/PS4 versions, and now it looks like they need a lot more time to optimize  it. They also stated that they were hoping for a Nintendo hardware announcement at E3, except its pretty likely that it won't happen.
