Truly Massive Video Game Collection
« on: May 01, 2013, 05:43:56 pm »
OK, so people are pretty impressed with what I have for video games and having nearly 1500 is pretty good. The status of massive however goes to a guy named Andrew, who many in the "know" is like THE video game collecting god. Behold and worship.

We actually have a thread debating whether or not this guy has a lot of games, what he spent, etc.

OK, debates aside...
are we talking about Red Hot Chili Peppers Flea...
or just VGcollect Flea?

I ask this question, since my iPod i'm listening to is currently stuffed with about 3500 songs and the peppers are among them.

Somewhere, I'll try to find it. People kept wondering how old he was. Someone said they thought it was massive until they saw AlphaOmegaSin's wall of playstation etc.

EDIT: This one

This guy is probably loaded with cash.  I'm not going to lie.  If I were rich I would have a room like that too.

My very first collection was that massive. Then I had to sell it all. That hurt...a lot. Then I rebuilt my collection and once again...sell. At that point I just wanted someone to shoot me. My current collection is #3. Yeah. I'm the rare few its purely a love of games that refuses to die.

I prefer my collection to be honest, which is why mine doesn't look like his :)

Pat the NES Punk is doing a series of videos on http://retrowaretv.com.  In his 10+ of swap meets and flea markets, he has hoarded an sickening amount of stuff.  Right now, he's only released 5 of the 7 part series.  Give it a look.

Agree!

FIRSTLY - I don't have any games in my collection that I'm not looking forward to playing...I doubt that's the case for the link in the OP.

SECOND - *Quality* over *Quantity* definitely dictates my purchases & in which ways my collection grows -so- I guess that "size really DOESN'T matter:o
"Attempts must be made, even when there can be no hope.
 The alternative is despair.
And betimes some wonder is wrought to redeem us"
