I'm trying to finish Dragon Quest VIII on PS2.

I liked that game A LOT!

I'm *still* playing AT: Qoga (just need 3 more trophies to "pop-the-plat)".

I'd been thinking of playing Rainbow Moon next -but- after a shit-load of my friends (w/ similar gaming likes & dislikes as mine) have played/are playing Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls...and raving about it/telling me how much they think that I'll enjoy it -plus- the fact that I've already bought, downloaded, & installed the game...they have changed my mind & convinced me to go with it next.

So far, I've only played one 'Wizardry' game (Wizardry: Tale of the Forsaken Land) on the PS2 -but- since I'd easily consider it as one of my favorite PS2 games and as my *favorite* PS2 dungeon-crawler...it wasn't hard to sell me on trying another 'Wizardry' game

TL;DR =

If you haven't already done so:

(A). Play Wizardry Tale of the Forsaken Land on the PS2, and

(B).  You can thank me afterwords 

I have not played much of Labyrinth of Lost Souls except for a demo, but I thought it was pretty good.  The only problem is it does not look like the PSN sequels will be released in the US.  If you feel like playing Wizardry I recommend checking out Wizardry Llygamyn Saga on PS1.  It has remakes of Wizardry 1-3 and 90% of the game can be translated to English.  You are also able to save so you can play old school with permadeath or just reload.  Plus it has an automap so no graph paper is needed, awesome music, and updated graphics! A few usually pop up on Ebay every month or so, I got mine for $15.

I have not played it yet.  I want to finish the main series first before I play the spin-offs.  Watched a few youtube videos of it though and it looks pretty fun, it also got a sequel in Japan.

I have been playing and researching stuff on Night Trap. Although, maybe not always considered a "game", it has a fascinating history. It is also one of those games the HAS to be played with a pen and paper. It is a nice feeling to have to make your own maps or tables. I honestly haven't used that much paper since going through the dungeons in the first Phantasy Star.

After SEVERAL times playing it. I finally just beat it. To be honest, I kind of enjoyed it. More than I thought I would. Although there is no way I am going for the perfect ending.
