Anybody know If super bomberman R is a digital only game or is there any physical version for it? It's part of the launch title but I dont see any for sale.

I hope it gets a physical release. it would be pretty piss poor if a console with only 32gb of memory launched with digital only launch titles.

As a fan of video games I was excited. Looking at the Switch as an analyst I see Nintendo is going to fail another console generation.

1. Online service still not ready
2. Launch titles are weak (which may lead to cancellations of future titles as sales grow stagnant)
3. Too many ports and not enough must haves. (Do we really need Dragon Quest Heroes and Fire Emblem Heroes?)
4. Nintendo still thinks they can capture the casual audience they garnered with the Wii
5. No focused marketing outside of Japan
6. Angry Wii U owners will wait and will probably stay away as they see slow sales and support
7. No media support mentioned. Chances are it will still not handle movies, music, or other media sources.
8. An old port is the only West title featured. (Skyrim)
9. For a company that makes most of their revenue from families and children they failed to have anything appealing at launch.
10.  Nintendo is competing with itself for the handheld market.  Switch vs 3ds.  With average consumers it is cannibalising it's own market.
11. Storage space seriously lacking for the current generation.

I'm happy for those eagerly wanting this system. That being said, I'm taking a pass. My reasons range from the system being overpriced with no packed-in  game to a focus yet again on a gimmicks. I have no interest in a bulky portable with poor battery life, nor a system devoid of 3rd party games that interest me with less power than the vanilla PS4 and Xbone.

Dragon Quest and Fire Emblem Heroes looks to similar to me. I would have loved to see a new Fire Emblem game on Switch or perhaps they take another franchise and do the Musou treatment. Like Wario Warriors, Famicom Wars Heroes, Metroid Musou!

Well we don't even have Fire Emblem footage yet, so it's not like you can compare them lol I don't really know either games enough, but Fire Emblem has a vastly different style from the cartoonish Toriyama style of Dragon Quest.  I've seen a lot of Fire Emblem fans are pretty stoked for this game, which is great for them.  I got my Hyrule Warriors, they can have their Fire Emblem Warriors lol

It showed a blurry hand grabbing a sword. Might as well have been Luceus.  :)

Yay for Fire Emblem and Disgaea stuff on the Switch! The launch lineup isn't the best, but the titles planned for release over the next year look pretty solid. :)
Currently playing: Persona 5 (PS4)

I think 1,2 Switch looks like it could be a lot of fun as a drinking game. I'm actually kinda excited for it.

Anyone read what is different about Dragon Quest Heroes yet? I heard there may be a new character for the Switch version.

I think the game that excites me the most is Project Octopath Traveler. The name is a mess though.
