How long is the game supposed to be? I've been doing all of the jobs and hunts in each town I've come to (only 2 so far) before moving on. I've also been sure to explore all of the "dungeon" areas as much as possible. I'm assuming, based on my 7.5 hours, that the game is going to ring in at close to 60 hours?

Also, I haven't died yet. Does the game get that much more difficult? I think I'm around level 11-13 with everyone right now.

Also, I just found this over at GFaqs:

It's a breakout of Familiar Stats and Mechanics from user AtmaRagnarok9.

I'm at about 30 hours right now.  I've been playing with familiars WAY too much.  I dropped all starter familiars (they tend to have bad stats compared to SO many others) in favor of better familiars and am leveling them up now, my main character is level 46 lol.  Progression might get easy once I finally move on :P  GOGO Pompeii and Nightcap!

I'm more than 20 hours in and I want to say I'm around level 34. I still have Mitey but I did read that he is one of the weaker ones. Problem is I really don't want to keep restarting as I find better familiars. I've done a fair amount of errands (up to merit card 10 maybe) but they start piling up as you go, one location must have had a dozen or more new ones when I got there. Plus, when I got a travel spell a character mentioned I can go back to earlier areas and get more stuff to do. Not sure if that's really a spoiler but you do get a fast travel ability so that you don't have to walk to each town after you've visited once.

I found mitey to be pretty tough ... but maybe I havent gotten to the point where he is outnumbered. He seems to be the only familiar I have that I truely like. Which makes fights kind of monotonous. Im sure Ill get better ones in the future. :D

Just finished downloading and started playing around 12:00 am almost played past 1:00am because of the intro. I do like how they give you a movie scene and break it out between playtime and watch time really keeps you involved in the game. Really great game

lol that is what I was telling my coworker about and she thinks her kids would be interested in it... an all I could think is there goes another something those ruffian kids can destroy..... but I had to admit I've gotten 3 slim ps2 this way...so I guess your kids break I buy for super cheap then fix them and have one for myself and the rest for selling... though one of them scares me... the amount of roaches and roach eggs I found in it... immediatly put it outside.....
