Caught up with what is out for the new season of Invincible and it's been solid, like it still sucks the production quality still has that clear drop the later seasons have had, kinda only showing up in very specific fights, which it mostly does for at least the end of Episode 5, but I wish they were doing better for more of the fights, like the fight in Hell, while I appreciated Slayer making a musical appearance, more to action quality would've been nice.
The drama is still good, a lot of this season being about Mark's mental state, where he sees himself, what is the right action to take to protect people, not just for him, but others are taking this into account also, such as Rex (Robot, still odd for him to take the name I feel). Debbie also gives an incredible performance when meeting Nolan again, an interesting and I think much needed change from how I hear the book goes where Debbie eventually gets back with Nolan, which is wild. I kinda love that the show is sorta Kirkman's way of remaking his story, that what he did before made sense at the time, but in retrospect, might not have been the best option overall. Sorta like how The Boys getting to change up things quite a lot from what I hear is kinda of an awful comic.
