The cart art is using a prerelease render of what the figure was originally going to look like. The actual release looks like the one in my proposal. Skylanders had a lot of renders like this used throughout the franchise history where the render looked one way and the final product ended up different, usually because the promo material would get leaked or released long before the figures were actually ready. As such, many of the prerelease renders/stock photos should be changed to images of the actual products.
Another reason for this is that a lot of these renders and stock photos (for boxes too) look absolutely fantastic in terms of paint quality, texture, and color vibrancy. Meanwhile, the actual product you get is far from that, especially with the Imaginators line where the final product paint quality is at the lowest point in the series. https://i.imgur.com/Cq4sDBW.jpg) which was rejected. That render looks great, but the colors just aren't right compared to the real figure unfortunately.
If that figure really ended up looking as nice as that render, it might've justified the extremely expensive price tag (over $200!)
