Gamestop done goofed again. This time... multiple people and countless outlets are reporting customers recieving damaged nintendo switch 2s.

Whats everyone's thoughts on it?

This was an incident occurring at one single GameStop store location in a city with seventeen stores, by my count. It's certainly upsetting for those affected, but the company plans to solve the issue through some sort of reimbursement or exchange.

Gamestop gave zero F's and probably figured early adopters had maybe a 60% chance of getting their new game system home without getting mugged. What's a staple to them?

Here to report that my friend was one of thousands in New York City who braved the dangers of the city's war-ravaged streets in order to secure a Switch 2 and made it home safely without violence or staples involved.

A friend of mine only got a steering wheel controller and a game but didn't get the console when he was supposed to.

I mostly just saw accessories when I went to the store yesterday, curious to see what was left, alongside games still available.  I felt like there was a number of those awful web cameras there, because those seem so immensely useless lol

One game I was surprised to see such immediate improvement from the system was the previous Hyrule Warriors game, Age of Calamity, as that ran terrible originally on Switch, I think to the point that I didn't play it a ton, maybe just run through the story, not as much as the original Hyrule Warriors, but that game just immediately runs better, no patch, so that'll be one to look forward to replaying when I get a Switch 2.

So, did any of us get one?

I got one.
It’s good. It’s more of an upgrade on a switch than anything that’s going to blow your hair back.
Now, the only game I have is Mario Kart. It’s super-fun. It’s more of the same Mario Kart, but that’s not a bad thing.

After seeing what Switch 2 currently offers, I've decided to move forward with the idea of rebuying a Gamecube. I saw some referbished ones that look rather nice with a new ice blue shell like the old N64.

I'll make it a family Christmas gift with Zelda Wind Waker, both Sonic Adventures and Starfox Adventures.

I got to play the new Mario Kart on the Switch 2 with some friends and it was fun! Nothing too crazy, really just feels like an incremental upgrade like others had said and not this huge leap. I tend to buy new consoles like 4-5 years out after release date so I might get one, but I have *plenty* of games on the original Switch that I still need to beat so I'll just use the original Switch for those.  ;D
