After putzing around with my 5th gen iPod Video, which was in it's final stages of life. It had a good run and for something that's used at least 7 hours a day it served me well. But after one replacement battery and having the library mystery wiped a multitude of times, dealing with random lock ups, weak battery life, a case that's been through the war and a drive that no longer accommodated my music collection. I finally bit the bullet and replaced it.
So now I've added an iPod Classic 160gb to my "collection" of personal audio equipment. Currently I'm sitting on about 30gb of space used with 3,478 songs on it and will be working on ripping the rest of my CDs this weekend. Now I just need to eventually buy myself the headphone amp I've been looking at and I'll be set for awhile.
