Looks like the GameStop in this little town has at least 1 copy and the next closest one has at least 1 more.  What the hell?  How is a game that impossible to find, showing up in every GameStop.  I'm calling shenanigans.

yeah, GS claims they're just charging the "going rate" and that they "sourced" more copies because their customers asked for more copies of the game.  and they're calling it "vintage" and will be "sourcing" other titles later on under the "vintage" title.

so much badness here.

Copies of the game itself, or copies of the artwork and box?

If it's the latter, then no big deal, rental places did it all the time.

If it's the game itself being copied, then I see lots of court and lawsuits in GameStop's future.

I mentioned to him that even the "new" copies they sold were already opened.

hahahah, ^ this was probably my favorite part.  good goin', man!

Agreed. GameStop New is a shitty business practice. That how I ended up without a manual for Knights in the Nightmare for PSP. *shakes fist*

They commissioned legit copies from Nintendo. They didn't make pirate copies. :P

Yeah, lemme give you what my statements were based on:
http://kotaku.com/gamestop-90-xenoblade-is-based-on-current-market-val-1123377091

What I was also saddened by was their comment that their prices are competitive, but then some of their used prices for their other titles are anything but competitive... Several times I've been able games that have a going rate of at least $20 for their marked down prices of $7 or so.  Not sure who figures out their pre-owned prices, honestly, but it never goes above the retail cost.

What Blizzard pays for making its cut-scenes  :o

(According to an interview w/ Brian...something - can't remember his last name -but- he's the guy making the Wasteland 2 game).

OK Posting this in the right subforums this time.  ;D A site I write for is getting closer to releasing video reviews. I'd appreciate it if you can give me suggestions or feedback on what you'd like to see or any improvements. This is my second attempt in an effort to refine the videos. Still kind of in the beta stage. But I think it is better than the first attempt. Any feedback is appreciated. Feel free to PM or post. Thanks!

I like your talking & reviewing, itself :)

I didn't like having to wait over a minute to get to it :(

Just my 2cents, though!

Sweet! Thanks for the kind words guys. I think we are going to go with a format similar to that. I am going to be refining the Night Trap video a bit. I am going to edit the intro. I actually didn't realize it did last a minute. I agree that needs to be trimmed down a lot. I'm also, going to edit the grading scale picture. For some reason iMovie hates the sites' images. I need to convert it or something.

Also, our site's artist will work on an intro graphic for the videos. He's really good. But really busy right now. But I think the main parts are in place.

I thought they stopped making this stuff! But I saw it in Big Lots today. I never got to try it before, but FINALLY it is mine! And it's pretty damn good.
