I made a slight adjustment to my game room this weekend. I'm not finished with everything, but here's a preview.

:o That looks amazing! Are those wall shelves, or a case?

They're wall shelves (track system stuff). I had two more cubes on top of the 3x3s on the bottom but decided I wanted to actually SEE the games I play the most. I'm not finished with the project, nor am I completely happy at this point, but it's a step in the right direction for now.

It's looking great! I've been wanting to get some new shelves for my room, mine are too deep for my taste. I found a place that sells open box stuff and I seen these there for $20 http://www.amazon.com/Atlantic-35435725-Media-Tower-BluRay/dp/B0058O8ES8
Thinking of picking up 2, Would actually give me more walking room and more shelf real estate. Only thing is, I don't think they'll hold Saturn cases or the like...  :-\ Anyway, your room is coming together ridiculously nice!

Looks very tidy, I like it.  Can't wait to see it when it's done.  :)

Thanks everyone! I've decided that I just don't need to display absolutely everything. The majority of my boxed NES collection is likely going to remain hidden unless I figure out a spot for my subwoofer. I'm considering hooking up all my systems in my leftover cubes...if I can figure it out then I'll be changing up the shelves above my TV as well - and adding a few more above the Trinitron (see my pics on the first page if you don't know what I'm talking about).

Still do do:

1) Buy speakers for the tube tv.
2) Hang more shelves.
3) Possibly buy a bigger tube set.
4) Buy more cables (s-video for the N64, component for the GC..which is ungodly expensive, A/V for the CDX and the Model 1 Genesis, and low profile A/V cables for the NES...or buy an a/v modded top loader)
5) Replace the deep shelves above the plasma with shallow shelves that match the others on the wall.

I'm hoping to have everything completed by this weekend :)

Ya I have a set of 2.1 speakers that are extra. I'm gonna check in if they will plug into my TV. And tonight I am picking up a leather couch that I found a sweet deal on. Then I can get rid of the futon that is in there.

This is some of my current setup. Once it's cleaned and finalised I'll post better details.

Just bought this today. Got a huge deal in it and now it is in my game room, instead of the lame futon. We couldn't get it thru the hall doors so the only option we had was to shove it thru the window.
