Picked up some Saturn games today off the local classifieds.  Got 21 games and some demos, all complete except one.  I need to update my collection but I hate adding games that aren't complete or still need to be cleaned.  I also won and ebay lot for 8 or so PAL saturn games.

I visited my grandparents during spring break and my grandpa got me old video games for Easter!

WAYNE'S WORLD: 2.99!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is my best find I have gotten since I started collecting.  They realized that they marked it wrong when they scanned it, but they still gave it to me for 2.99.

Im guessing they meant to charge $29.99 for Wayne's world, not $2.99  ... I wish I would run into more of those. I did score one last night though at Half price books. Was just looking at their stuff and scanning through their guides when I saw SNES Chrono Trigger guide. Looked brand new ... pulled it out and the sticker was $4.99. I wasnt going to pass that up at all.

Well when they scanned it they said it was supposed to be $39.99.  I think they got it mixed up with the SNES version.

Hit some garage sales and thrift/pawn shops this weekend while I was away to see my family for Easter.  I picked up Castlevania: Lament of Innocence (PS2) at Goodwill, Shin Megami Tensei - Persona 3 FES at a pawn shop for $3 and at a different pawn shop I found Shadowrun (SNES) for $6.  A pretty good haul.  I wasn't expecting to find those games at a pawn shop.  I also found disc 2 of Metal Gear Solid Twin Snakes (GC) in a box of random game stuff at the first pawn shop, but I couldn't find the rest of it anywhere.

The disappointment of the day was finding a ROB in nice condition at a garage sale.  I saw it sitting among other random garage sale items and it seemed to have everything minus the box.  I'm thinking "Score!"  Then I noticed the price: $50.00!  Damn.  I tried to haggle and get them down to 30, but the guy came from out of nowhere and rudely said "No way! Those things are going for twice that on eBay."  I played dumb, pretending I had no idea it had much value, but ended up leaving it there.  I wasn't sure if it even worked, so I wasn't willing to take a chance on it.

I glanced on eBay and it looks like the price on ROB has come down a little, at least when I was checking them out on Saturday (about $50-$70 in that condition).  Good luck finding getting another NES collector to stumble across your garage sale and pay nearly retail for that ROB.
