I spent part of today playing Costume Quest. I love Tim Schafer games, and I picked up Once Upon A Monster this weekend just because he and DoubleFine had a hand in it ($15 at Best Buy!)...but I've been too lazy to move my Kinect or my 360 so they are both in the same room, so I haven't tried it yet.
However, the acquisition of a new Tim Schafer game made me consider the couple that I've never played, and I got Costume Quest in the last Steam sale. I can't say I'm surprised at how enjoyable it was, as it IS Tim Schafer, but man, I had a good time with it. I've still got the DLC part to go through (it was all included on the Steam sale) but the main story was downright adorable and quirky fun.
Now I just need to get Trenched (a.k.a. Iron Brigade) and play through that, wrap up the DLC from Stacking and Costume Quest, finish Brutal Legend, and actually play Once Upon A Monster, and I'll have played all of every game he's ever worked on. I also should see about getting an actual copy of Grim Fandango and Full Throttle (and Trenched) so I can say I own all his games as well...
