Just in the last couple of weeks I found a video that explained how to do it.  It's not hard at all now.  You use A to lean frontward and B to lean back.  It makes things work.  I don't remember who did the video or how to find it.  It's on YouTube if that narrows it down any.  :P

Nice, I gotta try that sometime. If it works, I'll feel like a caveman who's been grunting and bonking feebly at that game for my entire life.

I'll have to find Rescue Rangers. You are also right about the Little Mermaid for nes. It's a solid game.

I'll see if I have an extra.  I think I do.

If you do let me know what you want for it.

I saw it at the local shop here once for $5 and stupidly passed it up.

Looked it up online and everyone seems to think it's a pretty good game.

Haven't seen it again since. (except on the ebays).

Rescue Rangers is great I use to play the hell out of that game but I never beat it I would always run out of lives and got tired of starting over and over... My cousin use to come over and jump in and try to get pass certain parts but still no luck on beating the game.. It's been a really long time since I played but I might just play again and see how far I can get today.

You definitely need to get Rescue Rangers, one of the reasons I actually bought an NES.  One of my all time favorite platformers, especially with Co-Op.
Currently Playing: Dark Souls: Remastered (Switch)

I'm glad y'all like it so far.  Chapter 2 is filmed and Chapter 3 is ready to be filmed.  This is a huge undertaking.  It wouldn't be so bad if I didn't put myself on a schedule; but if I don't make myself do it, I'll be doing this for a year.  I'm looking at 21 chapters.  I'm 1/7 of the way there.

You fine folks can look forward to a new chapter every Tuesday with the possibility of a bonus chapter sometime toward the end of the week.

Thank all of you for the kind words. This is fun for us and it gives me a good excuse to play all of these games and reorganize things.  Thank you.

Since I've had free time this week and my wife is enjoying filming these, here's your  bonus chapter this week.  Chapter 2 of the Complete NES Review.
