June 2014 - Recently Added to Collection/Recently Purchased

First buy of the month!  :P

Swung back by Gamestop today - I had spotted another cheap Wii game that looked interesting but I didn't know anything about so I decided to look into it first.  It's called Blast Works, and apparently it's some kind of "make your own shmup" game - looks really cool & was only $4.  :)  Got another couple of cheap ones while I was there, plus spotted the Tekken Hybrid LE on a upper shelf marked at only $15.  Looked up its contents - a hardback artbook, a CGI movie on blu-ray (should be good for a laugh :) ) and a 2-cd soundtrack along with the game (TTT HD and what I'm guessing amounts to a demo of TTT2).  Sounded like $15 worth to me!

I need to go to bed, but my wife bought me Mario Kart 8. This game is awesome.

Picked up Mario Kart 8 this weekend.  After spending the weekend with it, I would say it's worth buying a Wii U for this game alone.  It's the best Mario Kart thus far.

However, garage sales this year continue to be duds.  Last year I would usually come home with at least 5 or so games every weekend.  I haven't picked up anything in the past two weeks, and in the last month I've only gotten about 5 games; none of which have been anything special.  I'm really hoping things pick up.  I'm starting to worry this will be the norm around here.

I don't know.  I don't even know how to do friend requests on this thing.  If you can find me, we'll try it out.

There are friend codes you share and you can play with friends online that way.

Im with Kamikazee.  Never seen this artwork before but very nice artwork.

Today in the mail I got a package from Foxhack with Wizardry VI: Bane of the Cosmic Forge for PC and I also received a box from Marc Oberhauser on Atari Age for my copy of the KC Monster Maze Supercharger homebrew.

BJ's Wholesale is really getting rid of their games for the most part, so I got God of War Origins on the PS3 for only 7 bucks.
