Got Super Mario Maker today, as I'm sure many of you did also. I also got the Mario Kart 8 official soundtrack in from Japan. Totally worth every penny.

Today's entry: Gaiares [JP]

Awesome Mega Drive shmup where you can steal enemies abilities with your module. Great visuals, music and shooting action, the intro sequence is really impressive for the time.

I love the colored artworks in the manual ♥

Enjoy Dragon's Crown. I think that's my favorite PS3 game.  I'm not usually a graphics guy, but it's beautiful.

N64
Early Thursday I hit a sale that advertised PS3 and the PS3 was gone but there was a N64 on the table. They already sold the games and the system had all hookups but no Controller. It was marked $30 and at first I was going to pass but I saw it had the Expansion Ram Pak. So I talked to the lady and was able to get it for $20.

Stopped at a neighborhood sale with about 30 sales in one area
Found a box with an original Xbox and about 6 controllers and some games. None of the games I wanted but I did pick up a Green Controller and for some reason a Game Boy game was in the box. The label was in bad shape but it was only $1. The controller was $2.
GB
- Little Nicky

Stopped at a sale and asked about games, the guy said no but his friend said he had some Nintendo games. I agreed to come back later. I show up at the time I told to come back and the guy wasn't there yet. While I was waiting the original guy who said he had nothing said he had some Genesis games. He comes out with a stack of Sport games and a few PS1 games. I got the one PS1 game for $5 and the few Genesis games for $1 each. Also a Nintendo Bag for $2.50.
PS1

And last sale of the Neighborhood sales I asked about games and the lady points to a table of glassware. I was confused but I looked and saw a small stack of Genesis games mixed with all the glassware. They where marked at $5 each. I asked if she'd take $10 for all four and she said yes, please get them outta my sight. lol
GEN
- Ecco the Dolphin (loose)
- LHX Attack Chopper
- Alien 3
- Dungeons & Dragons

On Thursday I only found that N64 and those 2 odd PS2 games. I was heading home when I remembered a sale that wasn't open when I passed by it earlier. It wasn't far from my house so at the last second I passed my house and decided to check it out. I get there and ask about games, the lady said I was the third person to ask. Then she starts talking to her husband about that N64 they wasn't sure if it worked. I said I'd still love to see what you got. Her husband brings out a huge tub FULL of classic video game consoles and games. After looking through it I asked a price, they didn't know if they wanted to sell it and asked what I would pay. I figured I'd try $60 and they talked to each other a second then told me yes.  :)

Always check the board games section at Savers/Goodwill!!!

Found Freddi Fish 3, CIB Big Box version that looks near mint the other day. First time finding a PC game that isn't trash in that area so it definitely was worth it.

Not especially "exciting" per se, but I did pick up Ultra Street Fighter IV on PS4. Drastically better looking than the PS3 version, no input lag, cool new characters, and ohhhhmahgaw, the DS4 is like butter for fighting games. I did find out that my PS3 stick works on PS4 though, and the DS4 works on PS3!
