Sooooooo fucking cute - Love must be in the air!

Saw a bunch of goslings floating down the lagoon in my backyard over the weekend and, this morning when I walked out of my front door, there's a shrub to the immediate left and, nestled under it -very camouflaged and only visible from 1 angle - is a fierce mama duck...she's seriously fierce, folks - doesn't flinch or bat a wing at me and the gf talking/walking less than 6" away from her, cars starting, leaving, arriving, etc...Go moms!

Have fun kash - don't do anything I wouldn't do  ;)

If there's one thing I've learned from both nature and home, it's that you don't mess with moms. Ever.

True 'dat.

See Gemma in Sons of Anarchy!

With our marathon of Friends ending soon and us binging How To Get Away With Murder, that might be our next show of choice.

Let me know when you start watching it - we'll dish about it like chicks gathered 'round yon watercooler  ;D

Yay! I'm glad you're enjoying it. It sounds like the interviews went well, too.

Very well! I'm now officially working at Ubisoft  ;D

Ubigrats!

So, while I'm no quite bored enough with it to put it down just yet, Lost Dimension is starting to feel VERY repetitive  :-\

I'm on the 4th stratum now...does the end game and/or NG+ get better and open up more things to mix things up a bit more, Kashy (anyone else here who may have played the game, feel free to chime in too:)

South Park the Stick of Truth
It's a great Paper-Mario esque RPG. Has enough comedy to keep me entertained for random battles, and seems to be pretty short and I always feel like I'm making progress. Hopefully it will mark my first completion this year (that 52 challenge aint happening for me...)

You know, I never made the comparison with Paper Mario, but I can totally see that!

I've never played Paper Mario.

I did enjoy Stick of Truth, though.

In what ways are they similar?

Dang, everyone is playing so many awesome things! Lost Dimension, Arc the Lad, Tales of Graces and now I see Fatal Frame II!

Start up Tears to Tiara 2 and, you too, can join the "playing an awesome game" club  ;)

Finally starting Lost Dimension!

<3

Let me know what you think; it's a lovely little gem.

So far, it's pretty fun...

...Even if I keep losing all of my favorite characters as traitors  >:(

Started Arc the Lad today, seems pretty fun so far! Maybe a little basic, but that's to be expected, I think.

Which Arc the Lad?

Does anyone else have a stop point where they can no longer enjoy games any older?

I am mostly like this. There are very few games I can enjoy that arent new school.

Pretty much this.

I very rarely play anything pre-PS2 anymore.

My bad.

Invisible Inc's not an Atlus game - it's by Klei.

Yup, it's a Klei game, though they do a great job with their games as well.  I haven't played it myself - I'm terrible at stealth games - but I've heard it's fun :)

Ya' know, D-Sis, I'm not all that at stealth games myself -and- tbqh, they're not even really one of my favorite genres, but - it's the turn-based aspect and the (S)RPG elements plus, of course, the graphical style and tone of the game that sold me on it.  I'll be sure to let you know more about it as I get into it  ;D

I don't think that I've played/am familiar with anything else by Klei.  What else have you played and liked by them?

@ TELLY

Honestly, I wasn't even aware of a 3DS DQ VIII remake.

Then again, I've pretty much given up on trying to play handheld games 1-handed, because:

a).  It's just too damned uncomfortable and inconvenient, and

b).  I've got more than enough PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4, and VitaTv games to last me...indefinitely.

That said, I've got a pristine 3DS-XL and a PSP 3000 (each with < 5 hours of use on them) and a GameBoy that I'd be pretty highly motivated to sell and/or trade for more 1-handed-friendly/console type games; if anyone's interested.
