It's better than the Switch.

Meta has acquired a PlayStation second party, Xbox second party and a former Xbox first party today. Camouflaj, Armature and Twisted Pixel.

Chris Pratt as Mario borderline offends the senses not gonna lie. The guy is a C list actor at best and has borderline ruined 3 cashgrab franchises and is aiming for 4. I feel it makes no sense from any angle and was only done so the names will fill the seats. Cast stacking for the sake of it.

Seth Rogen is more qualified for the role. But an actual Italian wouldn't have been too much to ask. Chris Pratt always plays a motorcycle riding pun having jock. White claw and paleton energy. Now he's chosen to play a upbeat, zany, goofy 4 foot mascot of the mushroom kingdom? Maybe it's gotta grow on me.

But bowser? Bowser is just a chef kiss to the fans. Nobody but Jack Black could do it better.

The animations and humor seem stellar. I'm still excited to see it off what I seen. It has me excited.
Sounds like you've seen Chris Pratt in exactly one role. "Upbeat, zany, goofy" perfectly describes his breakthrough role on Parks & Recreation as well as The Lego Movie.

I like everything about it especially Chris Pratt's voice.

I'm a big fan of Garden Warfare, Garden Warfare 2 and Battle for Neighborville. It was obvious at the time between the release of GW2 and BfN something was going on but never knew what until now. Learning what it was and the circumstances surrounding I'm now quite upset this never released.
Video explaining everything with concept art and gameplay:

I guess technically it wasn't cancelled since it wasn't actually greenlit but still.

No backwards compatibility confirmed.

Do you mean that it has no backwards compatibility or that there has been no confirmation of backwards compatibility?
The first one. It was confirmed today to not play games for the first PS VR.

No backwards compatibility confirmed.

Chibi-Robo! on GameCube and Afrika on PS3.

The Sims 4 will be going free on October 18 on all platforms. It's about time for a game with so much DLC.

If Tekken 8 actually looks like that it's pretty impressive.

Hogwarts Legacy's PlayStation exclusive quest looked interesting.

Looking forward to PlayStation Stars. I hope it'll be on PS4 but it's launching first on mobile. What would be even better instead of just having them on your profile would be an app on console where you can explore in a 3D environment and see everyone's collections but I guess that's asking too much.

They should also treat the Ape Escape IP better. Ape Escape 2 is one of the few games on PS5 that have major graphical issues. Did they release a patch fixing it to coincide with their recognition of specifically 2? Of course not.

Why on Earth would Sony pick up a game that looks exactly like Ghost of Tsushima when Sucker Punch is likely already making the sequel?

God of War Ragnarök DualSense is cute.

Now I only need an F-zero and I'll buy a Switch
Well, not new and it's on all platforms.

I think that was quite bad!

Fatal Frame is nice I guess.

N64 adding good games.

Diddy Kong in Strikers but not MK8D.

Wave 3 leak of MK8D BCP was confirmed.

Switch Sports golf delayed. Please understand.

Pikmin 4 with new perspective looked good.

Kirby Return to Dream Land coming to Switch.

Tears of the Kingdom looked like a Breath of the Wild expansion.

Really disappointing that this isn't a PlayStation Showcase which happened around this time the last two years with an emphasis on first party games and being bigger overall than a regular State of Play.

I consider myself one of the few who likes Ubisoft but that show was so bad. The only things I liked were Heartland's proper reveal and Trackmania coming to consoles. Where the hell was XDefiant?! I guess it was nice that the Rabbids series is coming full circle and bringing back Rayman but I don't really care for the game.

As for all the Assassin's Creed stuff it's just upsetting to me because with all that's being worked on that means no one is working on a fourth Watch Dogs. I want the main team from the first two games to make the fourth one but I guess Ubisoft is over that franchise. If Watch Dogs: Legion - Bloodline is actually the end of the series at least it wrapped up well. Watch the next release be a completely unnecessary remake of the first game..
