Only good announcement was the Metal Wolf Chaos reveal; everything else has been pretty mediocre to flat-out bad. The last few years makes me feel that E3 is pretty unnecessary.

All time- probably CD-i due to the horrible library and awful controller ( a good one is kinda expensive)

From current gen - xbox one. No reason to grab when all of the exclusives I'm interested in are ported to PC.

Bethesda is really out of touch with customer compliants, and that's probably why some people have issues with them, including myself. It's especially bad to joke about " look at these guys complaining about a few minor bugs" when their track record from the last 10 years has been less than stellar when it comes to bugs for their rpgs, and then act like an online only fallout releasing in november ( w/ 1 beta) will go over fine w/o any issues. Not to mention that they defintely have the money to be invest in a new engine, instead of extending a very dated 12 yr old engine from oblivion days, but prefer to push online/mobile instead.

Doom 2 was cool at least.

Assault/ Assault Plus - Very underrated twin stick shooter for arcades. One of the most graphically impressive games of 1988, and contains a ton of replayability thanks to responsive controls, a large amount of stages, and experimenting with different paths. Plus version also adds a easy/super mode with altered level layouts. Sadly ahead of its time, and never got any sequels.

Armored Warriors- Nice arcade beat-em-up with good graphics due to cps2 hardware, the ability to customize your weapon/arm/leg system from defeated enemies, and a high difficulty especially in the last few stages makes this a decent challenge for a 1cc (in my opinion). Kind of a crime that its sequel ended up being a 1v1 fighter that got mostly ignored in arcades.

Front Mission 2- Second entry in the series, that contains a ton of upgrades compared to the first games with the Action Points system, along with a mature storyline and a high difficulty to boot ( got stuck near one of the super tank missions about 60% in). Unfortunately, due to the mature content, Square never released this in the US and the only way to play is to find the translation patch for the game ( which also requires a gamefaqs script for the last 30% of the game).

Some other ones I can reccomend are Dogyuun, Bangai-O Spirits, Granada, Hyper Duel, Super Robot Wars F Final, along with Gundam Battle Assault 1 & 2. Would like to add Metal Wolf Chaos once I have access to it via softmod.

Not worth it at that price point. I'd probably grab the upcoming X Collection on ps4 ( since its gonna have all of the x titles on 2 discs).

I thought it was only going to have X through X4, and then the rest would be DLC? Or am I thinking of something else? @.@

That's the Switch Version.  XB1 and PS4 are pure digital.
From what I've seen, the PS4/XB1 version was also announced to have a 2 disc retail release for $40 ( not sure how limited it will be), and switch has X1-X4  on cart ( with X5-X8 as a internet download code). In addition, the X Collection has two separate physical releases for Switch in Japan ($33 for each legacy collection), which you can grab via Playasia.

I've saw Avengers: Infinity War the other day. I'd give it a 6.5/10 since although its got a ton of money, actors, production studios, and visual effects behind it, most of the writing just falls flat on its face after setting up a scene well. Some plot details didn't flow well, which I thought was probably due to edits they had to make for scenes. I wish they had included Death, because that absence throws a plothole into Thanos motivations and what he loves the most.

However, I do give them credit for being ballsy enough to kill off characters this time around; lets hope they don't just go for the "time rewind" to bring back everyone in infinity war part ii.

It's not really a plothole, they just reworked it around a different motivation based on the backstory they gave him.  Makes him a more calculated mass murderer thinking he's doing what is best for the universe, compared to the comics, where he's a psychopathic mass murderer doing it because he has a crush on the physical embodiment of Death.
Idk, I just felt it wasn't explained very well due to the way the scenes were edited. Maybe the special features in the bluray release will have some additional scenes to explain it.

The sound chip used in both the sfc and the snes is the SPC700, with no differences in audio quality. However, there have been MSU1 game hacks where pre-recorded cd audio ( usually a remix of the game's audio) can be streamed through the spc700 soundchip and replace the regular soundtrack. Those hacks can usually be played w/ a sd2snes or everdrive on your console ( along with emulation).

I personally think describing a subgenre with same mechanics such as "action rpg" or tactical makes it easier to identify compared to "this is a jrpg".   :D

^ There is a Salamander collection ( import) which also contains Xexex, along with SNK Arcade Classics Vol. 0 having a few shmups.

why would anyone bid on an unreleased game?

- The Vita is not worth is as a "JRPG machine" since the vast majority of jrpgs worth playing are on other systems
- Chrono series is overrated
- Import libraries are vastly superior for older consoles compared to newer consoles
- The idea of no lives/no respawn is overused as a game mechanic in many single player games today
- Xbox brand has been utter garbage since 2009
- Guilty Gear has the best metagame for fighters today compared to any other fighter on the market
- Naughty Dog/ Quantic Dream/Bungie/Bioware are overrated studios
- Not everything can be ported to the Switch ( same goes for yt comparisons of porting arcade games to genesis)
- PC gaming is a hidden gem of its own
