Yeah, the new trailers shown at the event for Dave the Diver: In the Jungle, Double Dragon: Revive, Dying Light: The Beast, Mafia: The Old Country, Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, Project Century, Sid Meier's Civilization VII, and Tekken 8 really showcase this irrational fear. Oh, wait.... Anyway, moving on.

Fine. Here's why I'm against it, and it has nothing to do with fear. It's because the vast majority of content being created stars a poc female. That in and of itself isn't even the issue. The issue is that any time a guy tries to point out the now flooded market, people like yourself start bashing us in any way possible. It ranges from your take of, I'm afraid of something, to being called a racist or a homophob or insert slur here. It's usually a pile on of condescending jerks that don't know how to have polite conversation anymore (thanks internet and absent parenting), and frankly, I'm sick of it and will now push back 10x harder because of the constant disgusting displays people give when all I'm doing is asking a question.

How many trailers were shown at last night's event that star women of color? Unless I'm mistaken, the number is one out of what I believe was a total of 56 game trailers. I'm failing to see how the market is flooded with this design choice, much less the entire industry being overtaken by any one group of people including "woke feminists." I'm not trying to be antagonistic but am genuinely curious how fact can be perceived as something else to the point that you or anyone else is bothered it. And if you're not bothered by these specific design choices but instead only by "condescending jerks"—which would be irritating—then why mention "woke" media at all?

I'm assuming that you're not categorizing me in this group of individuals—whom I have no idea behave like and question just how similar we actually are to another—as I've always been civil in our discussions. Initially, I worded "irrational fear" as "idea," and perhaps I should I have maintained that language, although I still wouldn't construe the end wording as "bashing." Nevertheless, if that's how you choose to respond in other conversations, you're certainly free to do that. But if you're implying that you've asked some question now to which I've rudely dismissed, then I'm not recognizing what question that may be.

Less of what the status quo was, is not a flood or the vast majority.  I will bite my tongue for saying much further, or else I'll get heated over this absolute nonsense that is plaguing most gaming discussions nowadays... *Stares disapprovingly at the line of weirdo's complaining about Ciri, an objectively hot woman, being ugly now due to having simply aged up abit*

We're not going to agree and that's fine. I'm not here to attempt to change minds.

I look forward to seeing more of Sonic Racing CrossWorlds myself. Also it's about time that Okami got another game.

I'm really hoping that Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is something more akin to Sonic All-Stars Racing, specifically Transformed, which I thought was better than Mario Kart 8 that came out after that.  Doesn't need to be sega properties based, can just be Sonic characters, I just want something that looks better than Team Sonic Racing.

Very clear that woke feminists have taken over the industry.

As a woke social justice warrior feminist commie myself, all I can say is "I wish..."

Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound really got my attention and since Sega is bringing back Virtua Fighter, it made me wish they'd do something with Shinobi as well...

In case you missed it, I think you'll find last year's Power Surge trailer to be exactly what you're hoping for. A revival of Shinobi seems to be in development.

Excited for another Onimusha. The rest of the stuff is fine; nothing I can't live without but I know they have their fans.

I completely agree. Team Sonic Racing wasn't the worst racing game that I've played by far, but it was very average.

Haven't played much Ninja Gaiden, but Ragebound had me hooked knowing The Game Kitchen is the developer. Blasphemous I and II has been my go to metroidvania games as of late, can't wait to see their take of Ninja Gaiden come to fruition.
