So, the girl that I'm dating is a big-time FF VII fan

DANGER, DANGER WILL ROBINSON

I don't "get" that name/reference...what's it from?!

Lost in Space. The family's robot caretaker said that whenever Will (the kid it was assigned to protect) was near any danger.

And the minute you said that... it set off my alarms. Big time. >_<

I do believe there is a cycle though. My first long term G/F hated gaming period ... I wished for a gamer girl. I found one but she turned out to be a stalker (long story ... ugh). I wished to find a normal girl. I found one but she had baby fever and a horrible jealousy of Morrowind (this is the one that sold my whole collection for $40). I wished to find no one. Ended up finding a gamer girl who accepts literally every part of my gaming life other than Everquest.

I'm glad to hear that, at the end at least, you wound up w/ someone that makes you happy, brother  ;D

P.S.

Tell your wife (and remind yourself:) that the 2 of you don't even need a single, damned video game for you guys to have fun & enjoy Role-Playing with each other  ;)

Seriously...if you've never played Radiata Stories (PS2 RPG)...I really think you should try it 'cause I think you'd really like it!

Not only that - it should be cheap as dirt & pretty easy to find by now :)

Sorry I've been away, a mixture of illness, my birthday, and then a minor op (unrelated to the illness) have kept my internet'ing down the past few weeks.
Welcome back!

Its amazing how much stuff you miss when you only have a phone for Internet.

I'll try to catch up tonight at some point. The net is getting installed between 1& 3pm.

In other news, my game room is coming along nicely and last night I put some more time into Xenoblade. Man is that game good.
