Thought that only applies to the '70s.  Then again...   :o

70's was just a long, drawn-out warmup for the 80's  ;)

I always said "the 80's were a 10 year hangover from the 70's".  To be honest though, I don't fully understand anything until the 00's.  I was a kid in the 80's, a teenager in the 90's, and a twinkle in my daddy's eye in the 70's

I like that one  ;D

the 80's were a different kind of special. no further proof needed than looking at the first Poison album cover

Then again...this is also very true  :o

The 80's were amazing...whether that was good amazing or bad, will be forever up to interpretation. ;) Hell, the anime was fascinating too! I have the 45 of this opening :P

In other news, I find it very unlikely that 4 of my extra SNES games I got in lots about 6 years ago are busted. But I can't get any of them to work in my mini-SNES. Luckily, we still have a standard in the house, so I'll double check them in that one in a bit. (This all started when I was going to doublecheck my shiny "new" copy of Dragon Quest Monsters with my Super GameBoy, as I only have a DS and a 3DS.)

Ugh, one of those days. I really just don't want this extra copy of Mario All-Stars to be busted...

I don't remember in which thread I mentioned writing to Nintendo about my NNID, but I got an answer telling me to call them. And now, after calling, I can confirm: Nintendo now CAN transfer NNIDs from a Wii U to another! However, the process will completely destroy any other NNID existing on the receiving console.*

*I just transferred my account, and the other one wasn't destroyed at all! I guess the guy played it safe just in case something went wrong. But everything went perfectly!

I just edited my last post, even though the guy told me that the receiving console's IDs would be destroyed, it didn't happen! Just in case anyone else wants a transfer, you can feel safe now; it's all right :)

Ya I've been slowly going through my consoles and looking at refining my wishlists. So far PS2 and DS have grown exponentially.

Good idea! I think I'll do it too, however "bad" it may be for my wishlist.

I did a bit of rearranging in My Last Corner of the World today. I had an epiphany. I am closer to having an unlicensed set of NES games than a licensed set. It would be cheaper to get those too.

That's the doge/shibe meme! It started from a picture where the dog has this face and a hand is approaching it, and someone wrote on it something like "wow      so scare             plz no touch" and the like. So in short, you put the face of the dog on something and fill it with bad grammar, "wow", "such", "so", and "very". I happen to like this meme a lot, I love shiba inus :P And it's pretty silly.
