I thought a "catch all" thread where we could discuss any/all of these upcoming "niche" Japanese games (I started to say JPRGs, but that would exclude some like Neptunia: PP) would be nice.  Below is a list of all of the ones I'm aware of - if I've missed anything, post it in the thread and I'll add it!  I'm only including confirmed information, and if the only box art I can find is obviously place holder then I'm not including an image.  I'll keep this thread up-to-date with newly announced games as well as removing games once they've been released.

For now, I noticed Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 has a release date on Gamestop's site of July 29th.  Not sure if this is old news or not - I have all 3 Neptunia games on the PS3 but haven't played them yet, and I've heard the first one is pretty rough in the gameplay dept.  Supposedly this fixes that partially by using the battle system from one of the later games.

I believe it is actually....  I heard a couple guys talking about it the other day in passing....  I think the questionable ones would be the ones he did not link images for....  I have not researched any of these yet though because I've been slammed with work....

I agree; as many Tales games as the US has now, there are still many gamer friends of mine (ones who love RPGs) who have never played any of the Tales games nor know anything about them.  And I didn't know about the Gamestop-exclusive Tales of Hearts R, so I'm glad to have seen it here!

It's niche. No one has heard  about tales of outside of the hardcore community. To be fair everyone on this site is pretty hardcore.
