I've been a member of this site for a couple of years, but only to keep track of my game collection. Finally decided to join the discussion, mainly because my family and I recently moved to a larger house in Indiana and I now have a retro-gaming area where I can get most of my old consoles and games out of storage.
I grew up during the golden age of arcades, playing classics like Ms Pac Man, Dig Dug, and Q*Bert, my all-time favorite game. My first home console was the Atari 2600, which was given away a few years later. Eventually got an NES, and I have kept every system I've acquired since then. I enjoy about every genre except for sports games; action, adventure, beat-em-up, platformer, RPG, shmup, FPS, I have favorites in each category. My personal top-10 games is a mixture of genres and eras, from Q*Bert to arcade TMNT to Final Fantasy VI to Shadow of the Colossus to Bioshock Infinite. I still consider my best gaming accomplishment to be finishing NES Contra twice consecutively without dying; at the time, I never needed the 30-man code
Glad to be here, I just enjoy discussing classic games with people who know what I'm talking about

Hey everyone we have a quick update to announce. Jason has developed a new feature on the user settings page. Users now have the option to delete their accounts so it will no longer be a manual process requiring a deletion request on the forum. We hope every user wants to stay here of course
, but the option is there for users who want it for whatever reason.If you use this feature your account will be permanently deleted, so make sure you are 100% sure before you click delete.

I'd have to go with the SNES controller. It's really comfortable to use and I far prefer it to Sega's 16 bit controller offering.
As far as joysticks go I have to give it to the Magnavox Odyssey2. I was actually really surprised how nice they were when I got my O2. Very responsive and comfortable.

By system, and then alphabetical. If there are multiple games in a series for a console I sort those by release order.

Yeah the Android app has been left in an incomplete beta state for quite a while now. The staff here have got to test an updated version and it is really nice, but still a work in progress.

Wizard of Wor for the 2600 and Centipede for the 7800 are two of my favorite classic co-op games.
