If you want to participate this year, please post your name on this thread. I want people to have been members of these forums for at least 3 months prior to this and some sort of activity here. We have had 9 years so far of 100% success and we are not going to fail this year! Sign ups will be up through 10/11. Once its done, you have a week to send me your wish list, address info, and what not. Also include if you are willing to send out of your own country cause every year we get non US participants.

When you reply on this thread, post what you think the spending limit should be. I will take the most popular option and that's what we will go with. And since I'm mentioning it ... if the limit is $100 (an example) please don't send someone $10 worth of crap. The limit is more of a guideline as to what to expect to spend. Almost everyone here the past few years has went over the limit for their participant. Within the time of sending in the wish lists, if the limit becomes more than you want to spend, let me know and I can remove you from the list. No hard feelings will be had.

Every year we have a reveal thread and IIRC, Kashell/Dash/Turf and a few others actually do theirs on their YouTube page. If you wish to wait to open your gift until Christmas, that is definitely your prerogative. However, I would like to ask that no one posts anything about their stuff until after Christmas.

Modern Video Games / Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-reckoning

I dont get too excited by a lot of series. Dragon quest, Darksiders, Trails of cold steel, Ni no kuni, etc are mostly it ... but one game thats in a category all of its own is Kingdoms of Amalur. It has been my single wish for the Ps4 was to get all 4 darksiders games, Ni no kuni remaster and Amalur on the system. I was seriously doubting that I would get that but as of 3 hours ago, THQ Nordic has confirmed part of my wish true! August 18 its time!

Im so excited. Amalur is the single most awesome open world WRPG Ive ever played and I cant wait for the rest of the world to get to experience it on the greatest platform ever!

I read forums/twitter every day even if I dont respond all the time. Lately its been the same thing "Where is the Switch version?" "How come no Vita?" "Why not the 3DS?" "When is the Xbox edition?" ... like wtf? When did every gamer decide to be so entitled that they think their beloved ass console will receive every single title? DQ XI and Shenmue 1&2 remaster announcements have brought me over the edge of silence. Its fucking sad lately.

For anyone who has waited on Deformers to go down in price to pick it up, your time is running out. It seems that it is being removed entirely from Gamestop (supposedly its being considered a failure) and may become somewhat of a higher priced item in the future.

Not sure how many people here are aware of the latest company to open and start publishing digital games. Strictly limited games is a company from Germany who has started just that.

Announced in August (I believe) they are going by the once a month business model to release games on the PS4/Vita (possibly Switch in the future). The first title, Tokyo 42, is now available for pre-order purchase : https://store.strictlylimitedgames.com/products/tokyo-42-ps4 as well as some additional bonus items.

SIGN UPS ARE LOCKED!!!! 25 people. Biggest one yet!!! Now is the time for wish lists. Send them to me via private message on here. I will be taking wish lists til basically the end of October (Not going to put an exact date cause of Halloween, my daughter's birthday, and her trip to Dallas is that weekend so Im going to be on and off then). November 1st is when I will take all the ones Ive received (Im saying it now ... if you do not have a wish list in by that time, I will be forced to drop you from this event) and pair people up. You will then have the entire month of November to buy/locate gifts for your person and get it mailed. Please include tracking in some form so that I can see the progress of the gifts and that your person will be able to track it so that they can insure its safe arrival. Let the show begin!

Once I have paired people up, I will send emails out letting people know who they are buying for. You will then have til December 1 to get your item purchased and mailed out.
