The barcode information is likely referring to https://psxdatacenter.com/psx2/images2/covers/SLES-53504/SLES-53504-F-ALL.html . This is actually the bottom of Club Football Ajax. The correct barcode is 5703782200877

why was this renamed to [DE]?
https://vgcollect.com/item/241689

this is not a german only copy. Yes there was a USK sticker added to this case, but this is a EU+UK release. There are two releases: the more uncommon Wipeout in a double cd jewel case (with just one cd...) but two manuals. and (imho) more common bread and butter package with a single manual in a typical PS1 PAL jewel case.

If there is a version of this released without the USK label that is missing from the DB you can add it.

Also something to note since it relates to how the entry was submitted, we should minimize our use of adding entire barcode sequences as entry name descriptors. So, in this instance, if there actually is a proper DE regional variant, then 241689 can instead be renamed to something like Wipeout (USK rating label).

To which extend those entries should be created - if the sticker was applied by the publisher, by the distributor or by the shops itself? Even if the content itself is otherwise unchanged? If boxes have other promotion stickers - do this qualify for an additional entry?  Like this green one about a soundtrack here: https://vgcollect.com/item/241257 or "Game of the year"-stickers applied on already sold boxes. Same question for stickers like "Distributed by <company>" (even through distributors are not tracked in the database)

Store labels are not to be tracked, only official labels be it from the publisher or distributor. A label a store put on is ok but it has to be an official label.

For the example you put of the C&C game, it depends. In a situation like this, I would look to see if there are any instances of that exact item without the label. Then I would make an entry for each type.

But there is no requirement that anyone else do that. You determine your level of involvement. So you can add the other versions if you want, or wait until someone else comes along to do it. But do not be surprised if an entry name gets changed once variations get added into the site.

Should this have the TLD [CN] to differentiate it from the Japanese release (https://vgcollect.com/item/93654)? Or something else? I'm trying to familiarize the use of the additional countries in the Japanese Xbox One category before adding things/making edits.

Yes the TLD should be there.

I did not respond to your edit submission so I cannot explain as to why it was rejected, but if it is re-submitted, it should be approved.

Yes. Resident Evil Code: Veronica X was published in Australia by THQ which explains the disc design. The item is a collection of marketing materials presumably for a magazine publication.
