I lost a bet last night to DashV on the podcast...... Now I have to shave off my entire beard.  :'(
I would never make such a bet... the risk is too great.

With huge collections how do you guys decide what to play next? Just go for anything? There are definitely some games I know I want to play but I have to push myself over that first like 1 hour of starting a new game hump.

I usually keep a loose schedule in my head that takes what I have yet to play and what is set to release into account. Then, I'll just alternate.

If a Tales title is out soon, I drop everything for it.

AND, if a series starts with "Tears" and ends in "Tiara", I'll just never play it...just to spite dark!

Ahem.

I'm not sure how I missed this the first time.

I'd never spite dark! I'm America's Sweetheart and dark is a lovely person!

hey I got a question someone may know. is their a trustworthy site out their where you can burn ps2 games that will directly work without any modification to the ps2? reason why im asking is I have a bunch (~40) ps2 games that I have accumulated that do not work for one reason or another and I would like to play at least one 2 of them.

I feel like this is a bit of a grey area and perhaps we shouldn't get into details on VGC, so I'll point you in the direction of Reddit's r/PS2 subreddit. The stickied post at the top of the subreddit's front page is what you'll want to check out. I'll make a disclaimer here in just in case and say it's meant for backups of things you own (which is what you're interested in) and not piratey things, so... I'll leave it at that. Hope that helps.

I dont think its a grey area. In the not so distant future physical media wont hold the games anymore and will either need to be rewritten or flashed, game preservation aint what it needs to be.
