I started carrying more cash just for this. And it makes balancing my checkbook easier. Win/win

By the way, have we set a date yet?  April 20th sound ok?  5 months from today?

Sounds good to me. I'll glue the lid back on the Folger's can tonight!  ;D

Count change...the hell you say  :o

I'm quite sure that there's machines all over the place that will do that job for us now :P

Haha, that's true.  And it will be 2013 by then, so the future technology will certainly aid our case.  Also, I only found out recently that Coinstar machines offer things like Amazon and Xbox Live e-cards as an option for redemption, and it's fee-free!

I'd go for an amazon card option. Maybe. But what I'd be eyeballing would more than likely be an eBay purchase.

Why don't you just take it to the bank?  They give you actual real American currency.  No charge.

Thats how I changed mine in. But they dont give you cash in return. They send it into their main office and count it (took them 4 days) then deposit it into your account.

Weird. I walk into my bank with a tub full of rolled change, they hand me bills. And I walk out a happy man, ha.

Maybe because you had them already rolled?  I assumed banks wouldn't take them if they weren't rolled, anyway.

My bank has a machine in the lobby. You dump in change. It prints a ticket. You take the ticket to the teller. The teller hands you frog skins.

I'm making some headway.  I don't know what I'm going to buy, but it looks like it might be something awesome.
