Please remind me if this is another terrible topic, and no I am not going to care how much you do spend on a video game. please delete this thread if it catches flies. I am not the person who even thinks to track a persons wealth I am not a robber and I don't think anyone will rob anyone. Sorry for the 2 worst threads in the general section.
I am not a fly who asks for money I never will ask for any money I am not trying to be a troll I am not selling anything or looking for someone to pick on

ignore this thread or lock it if you think it is offensive. Please forgive the first post. I may be asking too personal of a question like last time

(EDIT)
NOT A SALES THREAD I AM NOT PLANNING ON SELLING ANYTHING

For me? I don't like to get anything over $30.00 used. My most expensive game in my collection I think is Zelda Ocarina Of Time N64 $30.00 lose and Banjo Towie. I managed to find Banjo Towie Complete In Box for $30.00 with the original price being $60.00 CIB. the rest of my games are used under $30.00 as far as I remember :)

I have wanted to get into the Forza series for a while, but the last one I played was 3. I heard they are pretty good, especially the Horizon series, but who knows.

I've heard of the forza series on Xbox, though I never played it I over heard that Forza 2 is when that series started to shine

as for Gran Turismo stay away from "Gran Turismo 3 A Spec" that game is pointless to work for since there is not many cars to play with. I own the first 4 Gran Turismo games and I don't like "Gran Turismo 3 A Spec" much at all. if you feel brave enough you can buy Gran Turismo 2 for PlayStation 1 for cheap and it is well worth the puchase it is cheap as of (1-17-2018)

https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B000034DC7/ref=sr_1_1_olp?ie=UTF8&qid=1516224859&sr=8-1&keywords=gran+turismo+2+ps1

best played on PlayStation 3 where you can create a built in memory card and have the maximum number of cars while going on a budget. The PS1 memory cards are expensive and are a waste of money in my case.

PS all gran turismo games have both arcade mode and simulation game play at least 1,2 and 4. but Gran turismo 2 is suppose to come with 2 cds one for arcade and one for simulation. ;)

Gran Turismo 1 comes with only 1 disc

I used to volunteer at my high school store. before school started. Selling pop candy and chips and eventually school merchandise. back when I went to school some of the the teachers let us student eat and drink junk food during class. true story

I  also worked as one of the managers of my school store. on my senior and junior year in high school and also. I had a job in assist principals office. During school's last hour and a half final semester. just running errands fetching the bad kids, and I also helped the secretary set up the phone computer that would call students houses that skipped class or weren't reported in classes that day

after high school, even though I graduated with honors.
I never really needed a job not now or growing up. Due to my mental and physical  health I am currently receiving  a nice pension and a place to live where the rent is low. all the while supporting my grandma's household. I have all day to play video games but little ambition at the moment to play more,

If you don't think you like Gran Turismo I highly recommend Gran Turismo 2 the licences are a lot easier and the money is plentiful unlike in later Gran Turismo games in fact some people I've seen on YouTube have well over $1,000,000.00. earning lots of money to upgrade your car is a breeze in Gran Turismo 2 game and even the loser can get 500 credits in witch an average winner on Gran Turismo 4 gets without a licence.

you can unlock a secret car in some of the Gran Turismo game. by getting all gold medals on the license testing.

The most difficult part of any Gran Turismo game is earning the license in order to race for higher stakes. Don't bother with "Grab Turismo 3 A Spec" that game is nothing compared to the 1st 2nd and 4th entry into the Gran Turismo series, 3 have barely any cars at all and feels more like a demo then an actual game. Even the 1st entry Gran Turismo 1 has more to game play and racing then the 3rd installment of Gran Turismo 3 A Spec for PlayStation 2.

Ive raged. I remember one time I was playing MK PS3 online. Was kicking the shit out of this person and all the sudden they caught me in some cheap ass combo and beat me. I was like wtf and tossed my controller. Ill be damned if it didnt hit the wall and shatter. Had to go buy another one the next day. Never did it again though.
Online games against people can sometime be a bitch Mortal Kombat can be especially frustrating even against the CPU because that game rewards the person with the best reflexes and combos, it can be majorly unfair and unbalanced at times

As for RPGs sounds like you got trolled  @soera or maybe just highly unlucky at that moment

I've had my fair share of pissed off gaming moments but the only time I remember strait up raging was in Gran Turismo 3 trying to get the damn licenses.... I gripped this PS2 controller and twisted as hard as i could till it broke.

Gran Turismo 4 I know is hard, I never played 3 as much. due to the lack of cars in that game. Overall I find Gran Turismo 3 A spec the worst gran Turismo I ever played. try gran turismo 2 for PS1 that game has TON's of cars and is easier but Gran Turismo 4 has more tracks and cars though ::)

Their is also harsh language spoken by myself when I fail in the license by a few milliseconds I don't ever aim for all gold I am happy with  silver & bronze, when comes :) but for all gold you can unlock a hidden car in some Gran Turismo games

For me most fast pace reflex games are not fun. I play mostly sports games and first person shooters. I usally get mad if I can't make out whats on screen and the cpu takes advantage of bad screen angles. I have vary poor eyesight and often can't see well in shiny night lights like in need for speed underground" and also in some first person shooters when a bunch of guys is hiding far away and killing me in the process.

I never beat Medal Of Honor: Front lines. due to bad guys shooting me off screen in an area on a hill far beyond what the graphics display and at night too. It's the level where you start on a hill and the bad guys shoot rockets far beyond the visual distance of the game. everything is in fog and you can't see the other side of the field when the men are shooting you as an example.

turns out they are on a distant hill and harrass you and use the view distance of the game itself to hide and kill you

How do you handle rage or anger quits? Have you ever broken a controller or a console? for me

When generally a video game goes too fast or too complex or, it makes me fatigue. I get angry  and turn off the game console. I have broken a few controller a long time ago. I'm a loser when it comes to games, I usually get lost or don't know what to do in which is why I turn off so many games not even bothering to get off the first level

when I want to play something I will just play that game but when I am stumped on what to play and know I want to play something I like to do the random approach. so without looking at your collection (other than how many pages you have) I would recommend you playing the game on page 36 second one from the top.

EDIT: Looks like this https://vgcollect.com/item/120407 is the lucky winner!

I played this game "The Street Rumbler" although It was too hard for me. but, I enjoyed a game on the same exact compilation called "Block Block" and it was a vary great Breakout clone :)

Im actually fine with the personalized approach. I am just unable to spend too much time looking as I am at work. Although I truly do not envy the person who would sit down and look through my collection lol.

I don't expect people to view the anyone entire collection my choice if I were you would be Wolfenstein 3D for the Gameboy Advance (but i heard is has clunky controls) but so does the PC version

I think there is a way so noone can see your collection but each and everytime you post your collection is always exposed under the avatar if you don't want people to look I think there is a way to make the link go away. :)

I agree to this approach. :) My "Street Rumbler game is located on my Capcom Classics Collection Vol.2 PS2 for if anyone want to know where to find this game.

My suggestion if you want @rayne315, is "Wolfenstein 3D for the Nintendo Gameboy Advance

(edit) I was worried people were taking offence to this thread let do this how @rayne315 has setup lets choose a page number instead of looking at the entire collection thanks @rayne315 :)

I never played this game on GBA myself

Now the NES slot on my Retron 5 is not reading games. It keeps saying "Failed to dump ROM" or "Unknown Cartridge". I haven't even owned the damn thing for a full year yet!

I don't beat up my stuff or mistreat it. So what the hell is going on?

I'm on my third Retron 5... as much as i love the thing, it really isnt build well. It always seems to be the SNES slot that goes on mine though. On a similar note, I got the new SupaRetron HD and it seems to be built a lot better, at least it feels that way. I'll have to put it through its paces but I'm pretty happy with it so far.

I have not had any trouble with my retro duo, you know some people say the more technology one thing has the more things can go wrong with it :(

I always have trouble when selecting a new game to play, I figure some other people have trouble picking out something to play from their collection

I thought of a neat idea. To anyone who posts on this thread, give someone else a suggestion (to play a game) based on any game or games in their collection. IF you already played most of your collection and have no backlog, you can become the perfect somewhat, candidate for someone who may have the same game in their own backlog. (nobody has to play the game selected) :)

In case this topic grows, talk about the game recommended by someone else, and share your story

(the selection of the thread is based on those of you like myself who have public collections)

To see what is in other peoples collections click on the collection link under anyone avatar, that is of course if the poster has a public collection

If you already played all of your games or someone pick something you already played then turn the game into conversation piece.

« on: January 07, 2018, 09:12:47 pm »
I believe that lottery wins are rigged, either your on some list, or not. I used to know a man who would play everyday. One time in all the hundreds lottery tickets he purchased he won $50.00 and this man used the winnings to buy more lottery tickets. in fact this man spent $50.00 a day almost on lottery tickets and won only part of what the tickets cost him.

On the other hand there was this women who won every single day. She had a book of mathematical numbers that if you understand when the pre numbers come out you can win. she won all the time while the man would spend all of his money on scratch offs or occasional numbers and almost everyone was a dud for this man and every other man I lived with in the home.

This women had a cheat book that had all the coming numbers in different time frames I highly doubt she was psychic or lucky she was a cheater, but won just about every day.

She would cheer (thank you Jesus) every single day and brag of her winnings
