I'm ready to make it official that I am done going to flea markets. There just isn't anything left at them anymore, the trips are always wasted. It's way too exhausting and isn't worth the slim chance.

Thanks

Been tinkering with my video production setup this weekend. Just need to solder on a few more power connectors for the cameras and tally light system. Should be able to handle a talk show, small live concert or convention pretty easily with this rig.

I head back to Nashville today after another super fun trip to Cleveland. Trips like this make me miss my hometown, but then I think about the winters, a good chunk of the population and their attitudes and the insane amount of potholes littering the streets. I realize that I made the right decision in getting out of there. I just hope the rest of the family follows suit.

On a sad note, a well known and liked member from another forum i am on, took his own life over the weekend. And he was only in his early 30s. It is really sad to hear about it.

RIP Mark.

You're absolutely right; it is very much a real illness.

And it's very sad news, I'm sorry to hear about that, man. RIP.

I'm seeing that all kinds of people on Facebook are posting pics like, "It's not just about a 3-day weekend" and showing veterans or veterans' funerals.

I didn't write this on people's posts, because I didn't want it to look like I was disrespecting veterans, all the respect in the world to them, but...

THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT LABOR DAY IS!!! It's an extra day off for workers (hence the name "Labor" Day), to show appreciation for their contribution to society. This time it's not about the veterans, it's about the everyday people that put the time in day in day out.

Just saw an NES action set on Craigslist. They guy wants $1500, as in fifteen hundred dollars just because it has the box and styrofoam and was "barely used". Sometimes I wonder about these people, firstly are they just trolling? If not, what planet do they live on?

That thing is worth maybe $100 to $150, not $1500. He actually wants people to call him, if interested. I'd be tempted to post the number if anyone actually wants to let him know that this is planet Earth and it is the year 2015.
