What is the reason for self censoring the first post and thread title?

I edited the post because I didn't think the topic would go so well.

It was about the game having you wrangle Pigeons for ISIS. and the fact that your first task is  working for the mafia first even vandalizing another NPC business. (in the text) and even the fact some of the characters.  and one NPC even wants you to mug 3 other NPC's once you make a relationship with them

This was a T for teen game and it may include things such as mugging

It all in the text of The Urbz The Sims in The City

Are most retro video games in really in the hundreds range a piece now? That is a shame because I don't think I will continue my hobby of collecting video games. If  In my opinion if you buy a single game for second hand over $30 you getting ripped off buy your dealer.

I don't understand how retro dealers are getting away with selling a, typical shooter game for example for 100's of US dollars. box or not you can buy furniture for less.

or possibility a car part

Classic Video Games / SONY PSP, or Nintendo DS or Both For You?
« on: July 15, 2018, 09:40:56 pm »
I always was curious about the PSP (PlayStation Portable) but never owned either handheld. The Nintendo DS looks vary tempting to buy as well.

I don't really like handhelds anymore but I am just curious, if you prefer you had one or the other or both?

Maybe those who had or own one could tell me, or anyone else who never owned one about it your experience, with either?

I have some positive moments gaming as well. My favorite memory and game of all time is  The Sims 1 series for PC. It may not seem like much, now but It was a well build solid video game for PC, in which a lot of PC games at that time, were not good the fact some PC game didn't work properly. The Sims 1 had it's issues but they only started when I started downloaded custom content for it. (edit) part of this post was not positive

I got a PlayStation 1 for my birthday one year and the family wore that console greatly. I remember playing Twisted Metal 2 with my dad and my younger sisters as well as WWF Warzone it was not my own home console because it was left at my dads home.

I just wanted to start another conversation but I had to contribute  :)

I guess I won't loan my games out either after hearing the first 2 posts :(

I actually don't have any friends currently but when I did in childhood, I lost both all my Game Boy and Game Gear games. and even the handhelds themselves. All I did was show and let my childhood friends play the handhelds when they came over. and when I was not looking that stole every single game for handheld I owned growing up. among tons of other things

when I refused to lend them the handhelds they just stole them and never returned them or I got some of them back in pieces but they were stolen again shortly after. Later friends were not like this, I did have a 3 good friends that been in my home that never stole or broke anything of mine but  all my childhood friends used to ally themselves against me and hid a lot of my things inside the jackets or pockets I was a stupid good child who didn't know any better they took advantage and used to laugh while they did it

General / Your Mistakes In Collecting Or Gaming

A mistake is a matter of opinion sometimes, So what are some of your gaming or collecting mistakes or any other mistake, that you consider a mistake in your own mindset?

I bought 2 copies of WCW Mayhem for the Nintendo 64 and I usually don't like to own 2 of the same video game.

I also plugged in a much too powerful AC adapter and ruined a plug in play game that is not that common to my knowledge

I dropped  both a Super Nintendo and it's AC adapter and it would no longer run.

I sold my 007 Goldeneye cartridge for just about nothing

I practically gave away 4 working original Nintendo brand Nintendo 64 controllers

I traded in a Sega Saturn and 2 games for it in exchange for another PlayStation 2 slim

I got a few more but these ones came to mind in this post

To answer Seether's question, only if I am forced to move out of my home, If I am forced to move out I can no longer have a collection because 2 room studio apartments in my local area are $500 a month plus utilities and I can barely afford that

I do!! I like to watch mostly video game reviews  that are long and detailed, I am not really a fan of short reviews that only last 4 minutes or shorter. I understand it may be easier that way to make a short 4 minute review and don't cover barely any of what the game itself is about.

I don't  hit the dislike button normally never. But I like long videos but not usually hour long videos but maybe maybe 20 minutes or so. But i usually don't hit the like button vary often either

I also enjoy collection room tours, but not as much as at least a 12 minute game review or anything game related to be honest :)

I'll assume it's whatever your into.  More modern games are bigger and easier and have movie like graphics most of the time. with more being free to play than with previous generations. But I only buy retro currently :-\

Currently I like retro

When the CPU turns into a super star when they fall behind in Mario Kart or a sports game. NBA JAM was notorious for that.

Which difficulty setting were you playing NBA JAM on? It's easy to lose focus in that game and I know the CPU does take advantage of that too. Sometimes it's a focus issue with me. if I start winning I start to get board then I stop my focus and then the CPU starts to get better as I lose focus.

But I usually win on easy with most sports game if I don't lose focus. On harder difficulty the CPU sometimes preys on your boredom. The trick with any sports game is to never lose focus while playing and to never feel sorry for the computer/opponent  when it's losing :)

I don't care what anyone says most sports games AI are even hard on the easiest setting, it also take lots a practice and mental endurance to get good. I feel comfortable when I have lots of time.

But in short games it's usually vary hard for me to win in any sports game if I don't have enough time to play the game.
